Images That May Contain Faces — Summary

AI Video may process images that contain facial information when you use AI features such as visual transformation effects and image-to-video. The collection, use, disclosure, sharing, storage, and retention of images that may contain faces are explained in Section 3.6 (AI Processing and Images That May Contain Faces), with additional details in Section 6 (Data Storage, Security, and Retention), Section 7.3 (Data Deletion Request), Section 8 (Data Sharing and Disclosure), and Section 12 (App Store and Compliance Summary).

1. Introduction and Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the AI Video mobile application (“App”) and related services. It is designed to meet the requirements of the Apple App Store and applicable privacy laws.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

This policy is accessible from within the App (e.g., in Settings or before account/permission requests) and is available in the App’s primary language. We encourage you to read it before providing any data or permissions.

2. Data Controller and Contact

The data controller responsible for your information in connection with the App is the developer/publisher of AI Video. For privacy inquiries, requests to delete your data, or to exercise your rights, contact us:

We will respond to legitimate requests within the timeframes required by applicable law (e.g., generally within 30 days where applicable).

3. Information We Collect and How We Use It

We collect only what is necessary to provide the App, maintain your session, improve our services, and comply with law. Below we describe the categories of data in a way that aligns with the App Store App Privacy disclosure.

3.1 Identifiers (Linked to You or Your Device)

IDFV (Identifier for Vendor)Apple-provided identifier used for authentication, fraud prevention, and analytics within our App only. Resets if you delete all apps from the same vendor. No
Device/App identifier (ADID)A persistent identifier we generate and store on your device (for example, in iOS Keychain) so your anonymous session, preferences, and credits stay consistent until you uninstall. No

Tracking and IDFA. On iOS 14.5 and later, AI Video requests permission through App Tracking Transparency (ATT) before accessing the device's advertising identifier (IDFA). If you grant permission, we may use IDFA and related attribution data for advertising attribution and campaign measurement with partners such as Meta or Google. If you do not grant permission, we do not access IDFA for tracking.

We do not engage in device fingerprinting or derive identifiers from device configuration, browser, or network to uniquely identify your device, in line with Apple’s requirements.

3.2 User Content (Linked to You)

DataPurposeUsed to track you?
Photos / images you upload or captureUsed only to provide the features you request (e.g., image-to-video, visual transformation effects, other AI creation). These images may contain facial information. Images are processed on your device or on our own servers only—we do not send your images to any third-party AI service. They are handled in accordance with this policy. No

We use this content solely to deliver the requested service. You can revoke Camera and Photo Library access in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security; doing so will limit or disable features that require those permissions.

3.6 AI Processing and Images That May Contain Faces

AI Video does NOT perform facial recognition, identity verification, or biometric identification, and does not extract or store biometric identifiers.

AI Video does not send your personal data to any third-party AI service. All AI-related processing (including image-to-video, visual transformation effects, and other AI creation features) is performed either on your device or on our own servers under our direct control. Your uploaded photos, images containing faces, and other content are never shared with or transmitted to external AI service providers.

When you use features such as visual transformation effects, the App may process images that contain facial information. We process images that may contain faces only as follows:

The collection, use, disclosure, sharing, and retention of images that may contain faces are explained in this Section 3.6 and in Sections 6 (Data Storage, Security, and Retention), 7.3 (Data Deletion Request), and 8 (Data Sharing and Disclosure).

3.3 Usage and Product Data (Linked to You or Not Linked to You)

We collect usage and product analytics to operate, secure, and improve the App. This may include:

This data may be linked to your anonymous account (and thus to you/your device) or aggregated in a non-linked form. It is not used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising. We do not sell this data to data brokers.

3.4 Attribution Data (Measurement, Not Cross-App Tracking)

When you install or open the App via an ad or link, we may receive attribution information (e.g., click IDs such as fbclid or gclid, and the landing page URL). If you authorize ATT, we may also use the device's advertising identifier (IDFA) together with this attribution data to measure the effectiveness of our own marketing campaigns and understand whether ads from partners such as Meta or Google led to an install, app open, or purchase. We do not sell your information to data brokers, and we do not access IDFA for tracking unless you have granted ATT permission.

3.5 Payment and Subscription Information

4. Third-Party Code and Services

AI Video does not use any third-party AI services. All AI processing (including visual transformation effects and image-to-video) is performed on-device or on our own servers. No user data—including photos, images containing faces, or prompts—is sent to external AI providers.

We use the following types of third-party services for other functions. We are responsible for describing their role in our App and for ensuring our use complies with Apple’s guidelines:

Any third party with whom we share user data for the purposes described in this policy must provide the same or equal protection of user data as described in this policy and required by applicable law and Apple’s guidelines.

If we add or change third-party SDKs (e.g., analytics or advertising), or if our use of identifiers changes, we will update this policy and our App Privacy labels in App Store Connect accordingly.

5. How We Use Your Information (Summary)

We use the information we collect to:

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing. We do not share your data with data brokers for tracking or advertising in other developers’ apps.

6. Data Storage, Security, and Retention

Retention (images that may contain faces): Images containing facial information that are uploaded for AI features are stored only as necessary to complete the requested processing. When processed on our servers, such images are automatically deleted within 7 days after processing completion, unless a shorter retention period is required by law or you request earlier deletion. Deletion requests are processed as described in Section 7.3, typically within 30 days.

7. Your Rights and Choices

7.1 Device Permissions

You can revoke Camera or Photo Library access at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security (or Settings > [App Name]). Revoking access may limit features that depend on taking or selecting photos.

7.2 App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

You can change tracking permissions at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. We do not gate app functionality on your choice to allow or deny tracking.

7.3 Data Deletion Request

The App does not offer user registration or account creation. You use the App with an anonymous session linked to your device; no email, password, or social login is required.

You may still request deletion of the data associated with your use of the App (e.g., identifiers, uploaded images, usage data tied to your session). To do so, contact us at the email or in-app support option provided in Section 2.

8. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share your content (photos, images containing faces, prompts, etc.) with any third-party AI service. AI processing, including the processing of images that may contain faces, is done on-device or on our own infrastructure.

We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their independent marketing or share it with data brokers for tracking.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the higher age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us at the details in Section 2 so we can delete it.

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. Where required by law, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions) for such transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy in the App and/or on our website and update the Last Updated date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (e.g., in-app or by email where available).
