This Privacy Policy describes how AI PixVideo ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). We take your privacy seriously and comply with applicable laws and Apple App Store privacy requirements.

1. Device and Identifiers

We may collect the following device identifiers:

Advertising Identifiers: We may collect your Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS devices, subject to your consent through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
Vendor Identifiers: We collect your Identifier for Vendor (IDFV) to maintain app functionality and user sessions.
Application Identifiers: We generate anonymous application identifiers to manage your account and provide services.

These identifiers are used solely for app functionality, session management, and service delivery. We do not use them for cross-app tracking without your explicit consent.

2. Runtime Permissions

The App requests the following permissions:

Photo Library Access: Required to select and upload photos for video generation. We only access photos you explicitly choose to share.
Network Access: Required to communicate with our servers for video generation, content delivery, and subscription services.
App Tracking Transparency (iOS): We may request permission to track your activity across apps and websites for advertising purposes. This is optional, and you can decline without affecting core functionality.

All permissions are requested only when necessary, and you can revoke them at any time through your device settings.

3. Data Categories and Purposes

3.1 Data We Collect

Account Information: Anonymous user identifiers, session tokens, and subscription status.
Content Data: Photos you upload for video generation, text prompts you provide, and generated video content.
Usage Data: App interactions, feature usage, error logs, and performance metrics.
Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for compatibility and support purposes.

3.2 How We Use Your Data

Service Delivery: To generate videos based on your inputs, manage your account, and provide subscription services.
App Functionality: To maintain user sessions, cache content locally, and ensure smooth app operation.
Analytics: To understand app usage patterns, identify bugs, and improve performance. Analytics are anonymized and aggregated.
Advertising (if applicable): If you consent to tracking, we may use identifiers for personalized advertising and frequency capping. You can opt out at any time.

4. Face Data Policy

Collection of Face Data: Our app, AI Pix Video, processes photos uploaded by users to identify facial landmarks (such as the position of eyes and mouth) solely for the purpose of generating AI video effects (e.g., romantic kiss or hug animations).

No Persistent Storage: We do not store face data on our servers or any persistent storage. The facial feature extraction happens in the cache/memory during the video generation process and is immediately deleted once the video is created.

No Third-Party Sharing: We do not share, sell, or disclose facial data to any third parties.

No Identification: The data processed is used for animation effects only and is not used to identify the user's real-world identity.

5. Data Processing Location and Association

5.1 Local Processing

By default, the App processes data locally on your device whenever possible. Photos you select are processed locally before upload, and generated videos are cached on your device.

5.2 Cloud Processing

Video generation requires cloud processing. When you create a video, your input (photo and/or text prompt) is uploaded to our secure servers for processing. Generated videos are stored temporarily and delivered to your device.

5.3 Data Association

Your data is associated with an anonymous user account, not with personally identifiable information.
We do not link your app usage to your real-world identity unless you provide such information voluntarily (e.g., through support requests).
We do not use your data for cross-app tracking without your explicit consent through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.

6. Third-Party SDKs and Services

We use the following third-party services:

These services process data in accordance with their respective privacy policies. We do not share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes without your consent.

7. Consent and User Control

7.1 GDPR and UMP Compliance

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to:

Account Deletion: Request deletion of your anonymous account and related data. You can do this through the App's account settings or by contacting us as set out in Section 10. We will process your request within a reasonable time.

7.2 iOS App Tracking Transparency

On iOS 14.5 and later, we request your permission before tracking your activity across apps and websites. You can:

Grant or deny tracking permission when prompted
Change your preference at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
Use the app fully without granting tracking permission

8. Data Sharing, Retention, and Security

8.1 Data Sharing

We share data only with:

Service Providers: Third-party services necessary for app operation (Supabase, Apple) under strict data processing agreements.
Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

8.2 Data Retention

Account Data: Retained while your account is active and for up to 90 days after account deletion.
Generated Content: Videos are stored temporarily on our servers and delivered to your device. Server-side copies are deleted after 30 days unless you explicitly save them.
Usage Data: Aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely in anonymized form.

8.3 Security Measures

Encryption: All data in transit is encrypted using TLS/SSL. Sensitive data (tokens) is stored in iOS Keychain with encryption.
Sandboxing: The App operates within iOS app sandbox restrictions, limiting access to your device data.
Minimal Permissions: We request only the minimum permissions necessary for functionality.
Secure Storage: Authentication tokens are stored in iOS Keychain, not in standard user defaults.

Local-First Processing: By default, we process data locally on your device. Cloud processing is used only when necessary for video generation.
Minimal Data Collection: We collect only the data necessary to provide the service.
No Backend Storage of Personal Data: We do not store personally identifiable information on our servers beyond what is necessary for service delivery.
Transparent Consent: We clearly explain what data we collect and why, and obtain your consent before collecting sensitive information.
User Control: You can access, modify, or delete your data at any time through the app or by contacting us.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by:

Posting the updated policy in the App
Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
Providing in-app notifications for material changes

Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
